Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Blabble AI, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. These Terms of Service govern your use of our AI-powered educational analysis and guidance platform, including all content, services, and products available at or through the service.

Important: Blabble AI provides educational analysis, feedback, and study guidance tools. We analyze your work and provide personalized recommendations. We do NOT generate assignments, essays, or academic work for you. Our AI assists your learning process without replacing your own thinking and effort.

Account Terms

  • You must be 13 years or older to use this service
  • You are responsible for maintaining account security and your Firebase authentication credentials
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • You can create multiple subjects and organize your studies as needed
  • Teachers can create classes and invite students to their subjects

Acceptable Use & Academic Integrity

  • Use the service for educational purposes: document analysis, study material generation, and learning assistance
  • Upload only documents you own or have permission to use
  • Do not upload copyrighted material without authorization
  • AI-generated quizzes, flashcards, and mind maps are study aids - verify accuracy before relying on them
  • The Highlight & Explain feature provides explanations to help you learn, not to complete assignments for you
  • Respect your institution's academic integrity policies regarding AI-assisted learning
  • You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with your school's or institution's policies

Service Description & EU AI Act Compliance

  • Blabble AI provides: document analysis, AI chat for educational questions, quiz/flashcard/mind map generation, study planning, and progress tracking
  • AI-generated content (analysis, quizzes, flashcards, mind maps) is clearly labeled as AI-generated
  • You maintain full control over your documents, subjects, lessons, and generated study materials
  • Our AI provides guidance and study aids, not automated decisions affecting your education
  • Human support is available via email (blabbledevai@gmail.com) for questions about AI outputs
  • We classify our AI as limited-risk under EU AI Act (2024) - it assists learning without making educational decisions

Limitations & Responsibilities

  • AI-generated content (analysis, quizzes, flashcards, explanations) may contain errors - always verify accuracy
  • You are solely responsible for your academic work, assignments, and submissions
  • We provide study tools and guidance, not guarantees of academic success or grades
  • We are not liable for academic outcomes, grades, disciplinary actions, or institutional policies
  • Service availability depends on third-party services (Firebase, OpenRouter) - we're not liable for their outages
  • Service is provided 'as is' with reasonable care but no warranties beyond what's stated
  • Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service (if applicable)

Payment and Billing

For paid services, the following terms apply:

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • We may change our fees with 30 days notice
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time

Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you upload to our service. By uploading content, you grant us a license to process, analyze, and generate study materials from your content. We retain ownership of our AI models, algorithms, and platform technology.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms. Your data will be retained for 30 days after termination for recovery purposes.

EU AI Act Compliance

As an EU-based educational technology provider, we comply with the EU AI Act (Regulation 2024/1689). Our commitments:

All AI-generated content is clearly labeled. You know when you're interacting with AI.

Human Oversight

Human support available to review and contextualize AI outputs.

Risk Classification

Our AI is classified as limited-risk - it provides guidance, not decisions.

Data Control

You maintain full control over your data and can request deletion anytime.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the laws of [EU Member State where company is registered]. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with EU consumer protection laws and dispute resolution mechanisms. EU residents have the right to refer complaints to their local data protection authority.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the service at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. You have the right to terminate your account if you disagree with changes.
